NGRCC heads to Anglesey for the Final Points of 2024

75 is the magic number the maximum number of points to be had in each class with a couple of classes in the balance it all depends who makes the journey to North Wales and hopefully the weather will kinder than last year when storm Doris? or whatever her name was ran through the paddock and there was an unofficial gazebo flying contest and all the bins by end of the meeting were full of Aluminium and nylon.

As it stands the Phoenix Open is still very open (sorry) George Edwards still has a very slim 13 point lead over Ricky Elder, Dan Nelmes and Dave Mackay both 14 points adrift, with new ventures in BSB COMING UP Edwards will not be at this round ( so he says!!) Nelmes has a bike and himself to repair from the free practice spill on Sunday of Donington, leaving Mackay and Elder both bike healthy and race fit.

IMS 600 OPEN was wrapped up at Donington by Ricky Elder, but HM Racing 600 clubman is still up for grabs Harry Hinchcliffe is in touching distance from winning, but Dave tilling needs a very very good weekend and in for the top 3 places as well are Mike Knorr and William Fowler.

ACU 250/125 is going Bobby Varey’s way, but Mike Smith is still too close for comfort and if a big if Joey Thompson turns up we could be in for a battle again which could really turn the apple cart over, waiting in the wings for the next steps on the podium are Nick Samsone, Simon Hunt and Sean Morrison.

Morrison is still in contention for the NG Cup class Alex Penrice with a 30-point lead over Morrison its just between those pair.

Spencer Hunt took advantage of Mac Parsons bad luck at Donington to take the lead in the 125’s by 15 points Sian Brooks in 3rd but clashing meet will not be there maybe letting James Hunt to claim 3rd place

A riders circuit the Trac Mon Anglesey Circuit offers many challenges natural changes in elevation fast corners and fast straights a fitting finale to a great season of racing with other titles up for grabs in a full programme of racing on both days.
