On Sunday, 15th September, the Woodbridge DMCC will host the sixth round of the 2024 Stebbings Car Superstore and Norton Way Honda ACU Eastern Motocross Championship at Blaxhall. The event promises a thrilling day of motocross action, with a full line-up of 160 riders across the Expert and Junior classes, culminating in 12 adrenaline-packed races.
This meeting marks the conclusion of the 2024 season at the Blaxhall circuit, following a busy and exciting year for the Woodbridge club. With over 25 Expert riders entered, the Premier Class is set to deliver fierce competition, with the fastest Junior riders joining the battle for top honours.
In the Expert Championship, Sam Nunn currently holds the lead over Lewis Tombs, who unfortunately will be absent from the Blaxhall round. Reigning champion Luke Parker aims to seize second place in the standings and close the gap on Nunn. Club member Tom Grimshaw will also be returning, reigniting his rivalry with Nunn, promising intense racing.
Top British Championship riders Chris Mills and Dylan Woodcock will be competing in the Expert class, vying for the top spot alongside other formidable contenders like Shaun Southgate, Declan Whittle, Ben Cole, Liam Bennett, and Max Broadbelt.
The Junior Championship will feature over 130 riders, ensuring action-packed races across multiple groups. Tim Warnes leads the Junior standings, followed by Matthew Pope and George Foames, with Harry George and Jae Jeffries completing the top five.
With 12 races scheduled throughout the day, this promises to be an unmissable event.
