The gates will be open in just two weeks for the most anticipated event on the UK motocross calendar: VMXdN Foxhill. The MX event has quickly established itself as a must-see spectacle, attracting motocross legends past and present and kick-starting a passion for two-stroke bikes like never before.
Over the past three years, VMXdN Foxhill has garnered an impressive following, drawing riders and fans from around the globe. This year, the excitement is reaching new heights as the event that not only has a thrall of vets' talent is attracting the rising stars of motocross to throw their leg over a good old two-stroke and take to the line.
One such rider making waves is the young and talented Josh Vail.
Vail started riding at six and soon competed at local club races before swiftly moving on to national championships. His racing CV already boosts a Coupe de L’Avenir race win, Weston beach race podium, JMR rookie of the year and in 2023, a triple crown of championship wins as he took the title at the MX Nationals, Bridgestone and British Youth championships. Vail is currently leading the 125cc class at the Motul Fastest 40 Championship, sponsored by Michelin, and sitting just one point behind the top stop in the British 125 Championship.
Vail will be riding a 2004 Stormworks Husqvarna CR125 built and prepped by Sonnie Mee Harris in the highly competitive Garland Powersports Evo Ultra class when he takes to the line on the August bank holiday weekend.
As Foxhill fever kicks in, anticipation is revving for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend filled with nonstop racing action, camaraderie, and a celebration of motocross heritage. Don’t miss your chance to witness history as legends, past and present, battle it out with a smattering of rising talents on the former GP circuit.
