Rounds 8/9 were held on the weekend and well organised by the NON STOP TRIALS CLUB in the far reaches of West Wales. Torrential heavy rain at the start made difficult conditions for all competitors who had to ride 4 laps of ten sections.
Euan Sim Sherco made his return trip from the World Rounds to continue his winning ways loosing 112 marks on day one and only 38 marks on day two. Harry Cripps had a pair of runner ups and Thomas Le Bretton a pair of third places. Cripps remains class leader going into the final round at Earl Shilton on 28 September. Euan Sim has missed two rounds away at WR duty but could still win the Championship with a good ride at the final round.
Achie Bremner Sherco won day one of B class on 110 marks lost with arch-rival Thomas Packham Gas Gas Hookwood Club runner up on 114 marks. Mason Vasey Scarborough was next on 132 followed by Kai Fisher 133 Ollie Gundry 141 Richie Keet 149. Day Two: and Thomas Packham recorded his first ever ACU National win with laps of 18- 10- 12- 14 a total of 54 mark lost and five ahead of Bremner. Mason Vasey very close on 60 marks lost.
Packham leads into the final round with Bremner close, Vasey, Gundry, Fisher, Keet all chasing. Koby Smith Yeadon/Guisley missed the round due to an injury.
Sam Lefevre won both days of the C class with 61 marks and just 22 on day two. Lefvre was pushed all the way by Mason Tidd 7 behind on day one and 6 behind on day two. Good rides by Harvey Sanders, Joshua Tate, Harrison Doyle and Benjamin James who was riding his medium wheel 80 Beta. One round to go and there are three riders almost level pegging: Le Fevre, Batty and Tidd.
Joseph Larkin continued his winning ways in the D medium wheel, losing 46 and 43 on each day, Ruari Graham 96 and Dexter Rowden 101 Reuben Keet 103. Rowden lost 71 to finish runner up on day two followed by Tommy Wakeford on 88.
Youth small wheel Saturday a win for Joseph Botham 55 marks. Alisdair Pollock 59
Rocco Watson 61 and Thomas Tidd 76. Day two: Kyle Bateman had a good win on 58, followed by Pollock 63 and Botham 71. Pollock has a very good lead in the series going into the final round at Earl Shilton on 28 September.
