With only five weeks before VMXdN Foxhill, the greatest Vets motocross event in the country (dare we say the world), opens its gates at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix Foxhill circuit, just off junction 15 of the M4, on August bank holiday weekend (22-25), it’s heating up across the classes.
The Wright Engineering National Team race is filled with the crème de la crème of British talent. Familiar to those who have ever stepped foot in the Des Nations arena, Team Leprechaun is known for its incredible outfits and undeniable charisma. Their presence is sure to be seen and heard as they make their mark on the Foxhill valley.
No strangers to rubbing elbows with the stars, Team Leprechaun has been spotted alongside motocross legends such as The Goat ‘Ricky Carmichael and RacerX's Davey Coombs. They certainly bring the fun factor as they prepare to take to the line in the Wright Engineering National Team race.
The trio comprises D.J. MacGillvary, Hal Kelly, who will showcase their skills on 2001 YZ 250’s, and Merv Griffin, who will be aboard a 2001 CR 250.
The Wright Engineering National Team Race is not just a showcase of talent, but also a celebration of the motocross community. Off the track, the team Leprechauns infectious personalities will shine through. The ability to mix and mingle with motocross icons such as the legendary RC and Davey Coombs is a testament to their magnetic charm and genuine love for the sport.
The clock is ticking, and time is running out to secure your viewing spot in Foxhill's natural amphitheatre.
