Things are revving up at VMXdN HQ as we approach four weeks to go until the big weekend on August bank holiday, and riders and fans from around the world gather at the iconic Foxhill GP circuit for VMXdN Foxhill 2024. Among the teams competing, in the Wright Engineering National Team race is the County Down Cowboys. Adam Donnelly will be racing a Suzuki RM 250 with the number 37 plates. He is currently competing in the expert class in Northern Ireland, and this will be his maiden VMXdN voyage. He is well accustomed to the two-stroke machine, and it’s his machine of choice. Donnelly is sponsored by Ryan Donnelly Cars, Stephen Russell Motocross, Suitor Auto Fix, and GTech Suspension.
Next on the team is Ben Kennedy. Making a return to competitive racing after a two-year break, he is looking forward to getting in amongst it at Foxhill. He is well versed, having lined up against many of this year's gate over the years in the British and Scottish championships. Kennedy will be racing a Suzuki RM250, displaying the number 38 with thanks to his sponsors Bannside Pallets, TS Foods, KST Suspension, Stephen Russell Motocross
The third member of the team is Dave Russell (son of former GP rider Stephen Russell). Having multiple race wins in both the Irish and Ulster championships over the years, he is no stranger to podium results himself. Changing manufacturer for the event after racing in the Honda Cup this year, Russell will be piloting a Suzuki RM 250 with the number 39 with the backing of his sponsors Stephen Russell Motocross and GTech Suspension, he is looking forward to returning to the Foxhill circuit.
