Leon Flint has qualified for the SGP2 series after taking fourth place in Macon on Saturday.
Flint will now take on the world’s top Under-21 talent over three rounds, starting in Sweden next weekend, thanks to his performance at the French venue.
He scored 12 points from five rides which put him into a three-rider run-off with two qualifying places available, where William Drejer and Flint finished ahead of Mikkel Andersen.
In the same meeting, 16-year-old Ashton Boughen picked up great experience and scored seven points, finishing ninth.
Elsewhere, Dan Thompson performed strongly in Terenzano, Italy to finish sixth on ten points, just two short of qualification, whilst brother Joe scored five in the same meeting.
And Sam Hagon scored seven points at German venue Ludwigslust, finishing ninth in that event.
