British Speedway Riders Katie Gordon and Rachel Hellowell Shine at Women's Speedway Academy

June 22, 2024* – British speedway riders Katie Gordon and Rachel Hellowell have excelled at the Women's Speedway Academy (WSA) over the past two days. Guided by 4-time Speedway World Champion Greg Hancock and coach Glen Philips, the academy featured 14 riders from six countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Argentina, France, and Australia. 

Last Saturday, Gordon and Hellowell made history by competing in the inaugural FIM Women's Speedway Gold Trophy, the first-ever women's competition at this level. Their participation highlights their dedication to the sport and the growing recognition of female speedway athletes. 

The FIM Women's Speedway Gold Trophy was a groundbreaking event, celebrating the skill and determination of female riders worldwide.
