ACU appoints GroupWhistle to power its communications forward
As part of a wide range of changes taking place within the ACU, one of our priorities is to improve the regularity and quality of our communications.

The ACU Board is therefore delighted to confirm a new working relationship with GroupWhistle, a company that helps motorsport and automotive organisations to clearly communicate and engage with their key audiences and stakeholders.

The GroupWhistle team has vast experience in motorsport and has worked in various series, including Formula One and the World Rally Championship. It is also currently delivering a Motorsport UK campaign to encourage greater participation in four-wheeled competition.

GroupWhistle has become a trusted ad hoc supplier to the ACU during the last two years, but our new agreement secures a greater level of collaboration encompassing a new approach to our member and organiser messaging, media relations, website management, and social media output.

Tim Lightfoot, ACU President, said: “Professionalising our communications is something we need to do as a matter of urgency. As a first step, the Board is very much looking forward to working with GroupWhistle to improve how we currently do things.”

As part of our renewed focus on communications and engagement, please keep an eye out for a club survey that will be sent to you in the coming days. We’ll be inviting you to tell us about your experiences as an ACU organiser and this feedback will help us to develop a way forward for the ACU.
