There will be many British enduro riders interested in competing in the Enduro GP of Wales in Rhayader on 2nd to 4th August 2024.
Please bear the following in mind,
World Classes
To enter the World Championship classes and the open classes you will need one of the following licences:-
Annual World Enduro Licence costing 479.00/ Junior /Youth -256.00/Open Cup -180.00
Or
One Event World Enduro Licence costing £ 228.00/152.00/ 115.00 When issuing these licences the ACU have a duty of care to the rider and their fellow riders that the licence holder is capable, experienced and fit to compete. You may be asked to prove your ability, having started a couple of Hare n Hounds last year in the Sportsmans over 50 class will not be sufficient; regularly riding Championship / Expert in the BEC may well be.
National Class
Subject to the size of the World Championship entry, there will be a small National class included in the entry. The Rhayader club will be asking for expression of interest from potential competitors shortly, and once again, there will be a criteria to be met.
Riders will need to be Championship or Expert standard, although some exceptions may be considered. The course will be 2 laps- identical to the World route, with the exception that there will be no Supertest - and will be the same time schedule, with just 15 minute late allowance before you will be removed from the course.
Which ever class you might think to enter you will need a motorcycle driving licence and a registered and insured machine . Proof will be required before you start.
Are now available from endurogp.wales website and are reasonably priced and presently have an early bird offer until the end of March. The club appreciate that Enduros are generally free to watch but these ticket sales are funding the staging of the event and without these, it would be difficult to bring the event to Britain.
