The ACU can now offer through Lockton’s our Insurance Brokers, Event Cancellation Insurance. Organisers should complete the form attached to the email and then return to the dedicated email inbox at Lockton’s insurance where they will process the form and provide you with a quote for your event. The event insurance proposal form is a standard form and some parts have been greyed out which you do not need to complete.
This is an additional benefit offered to ACU Organisers and you deal directly with the insurer on the cover for your event. If you obtain a quote and then decide not to proceed with it, then of course that is fine but once the quote is paid and the insurance is in place there is no refund.
Several of our organisers have requested event cancellation cover so we hope that this will assist you with the uncertainties caused due to the weather that is affecting more and more of our events.
