The promotion team for the most anticipated event on the UK Motocross calendar, VMXdN Foxhill, are proud to announce that the absolute legend that is Rob Herring will be attending the event held at the iconic Wiltshire Grand Prix circuit held on the August bank holiday weekend (24-28th).
Rob’s presence adds to an already stacked lineup of current and former racers all coming together to reminisce about the 90s/00s era of the sport, the golden years if you like. Rob was no stranger to those times, always upfront with his effortless riding style. He is also no stranger to Foxhill Moto Park where in the 90s heydays, he had the banks of people all on their feet with his performances against a stacked field.
“The Fish” as he is affectionately called, is one of the nicest and most approachable people you could meet, so be sure to stop him for a photo or autograph on the weekend. These days, he is busy with his new vocation, where he is a movie stuntman and mobile camera operator, using his smooth, flawless riding to get the shots on the biggest blockbusters imaginable. Seeing him at an MX event is a rarity in recent years as he cannot usually commit as the big studios can request him on set at a moment’s notice, but with the current industrial action by the Actors Unions, he is finishing off filming in Japan the week before Foxhill so he has guaranteed us he will be there.
VMXdN Foxhill 2023 is shaping up to be an epic, star-studded event with the who’s who of evo and modern racing and true international entries to give it that 90s Grand Prix atmosphere. The racing is sure to keep you entertained through Saturday and Sunday and with a full program of entertainment from live music, Show’N’Shine bike display, classic Motovision videos, the European Yamaha launch of the 50th Anniversary model, rider introductions and two live Pulp MX shows, it’s incredible how they have fitted it all into the four-day event.
It’s not too late to get your ticket to the Motocross event of the season.
