Bobby Varey set the pace during qualifying and started his first 250cc National race from pole in a time of 1 minute 16.95 and a speed of 86.54 mph, second fastest was Gavin Mills with defending champion Thomas Lawlor third on the grid.
Fastest in the Cup class was Andrew Glasgow with James Seath second and Phil Ellis third. Fastest 125cc machine was Mark Tyrrell with Sian Brooks and James Chapman third.
The first nine lap race saw both Bobby Varey and Gavin Mills retire in the early stages, Varey with a sized motor and Mills with a strange loss of tyre pressure.
Thomas Lawlor made the most of this chance and took the race victory from Chris Moore and Nick Sansome in third place. James Seath led the Cup competitors across the line and fifth overall with Andrew Glasgow in second and Sean Morrison in third place. Mark Tyrrell showed great pace on his 125cc Honda and took the class victory ahead of Sian Brooks with James Chapman in third place.
The second eight lap race saw a great race from Bobby Varey who took the victory from Thomas Lawlor by 6.28 seconds with Chris Moore in third. Cup competitor Sean Morrison had a great ride with fourth place overall and top cup rider. Second in the Cup Class went to Andrew Glasgow and Michael Waring in third place. Mark Tyrrell made it two from two with victory in the 125 class and James Chapman in second place Sian Brooks retired on the first lap.
Bobby Varey kept the best till last and won the third ten lap race by 18.72 seconds from Thomas Lawlor second and Chris Moore in third place. Despite retiring from his first race, he set the fastest lap in each of his races with his fastest in his third race in a time of 1 minute 14.58 and a speed of 89.29 mph.
Sean Morrison put in another strong finish with fifth overall and top Cup rider, Andrew Glasgow was second Cup rider across the line with Michael Waring in third place. The 125cc Class saw Mark Tyrrell notch up his third victory of the day with Sian Brooks in second and James Chapman in third.
