Sunday 30th April will see the Woodbridge DMCC hosting their first motocross meeting of the 2023 season at the Blaxhall Circuit near Woodbridge. The event will see a full line-up of nearly 200 riders competing in the Expert and Junior classes making for a bumper 15 race programme for the second round of the Stebbings Car Superstore and PP Sports Insurance ACU Eastern Motocross Championship.
The Woodbridge DMCC have been busy preparing for an exciting and action-packed year ahead at their Blaxhall venue and Sunday’s meeting marks the start of the 2023 Championship following the unfortunate cancellation of the opening round last month at Wakes Colne. With over 30 Expert riders entered, they will be competing in their own Championship races and battling it out for valuable championship points to start their season.
Reigning Champion Luke Parker will be looking to start his championship defence in good fashion, but he is sure to have plenty of competition. Former Champions Lewis Tombs, Shaun Southgate and Luke Benstead will all be hoping to make a strong start to their campaigns. British Championship riders Tom Grimshaw, Sam Nunn and Calum Mitchell are sure to be mixing it at the front and challenging for race wins.
Other Experts include ex multi–Champion Syd Bales who is making a return to the sport and local regulars such as Bayliss Utting, William Farrow, Brad Woodroffe, Declan Whittle, Ben Cole, Josh Peters while last year’s Junior Champion Joseph Leeks and Jake Rackham are both moving up to the Experts.
The Junior Championship classes will feature 160 riders and is sure to produce plenty of exciting action as the season get underway. The riders will be split across four groups, from the Junior Championship class to the support groups.

All the action starts at 9am with the first block of racing start straight after Practice. Admission prices are £10 for Adults and £5 for Unaccompanied Children.
