We are delighted to announce that Talon will be the 2023 Series Title Sponsor.
The well-known brand have been a previous series headline Sponsor and now with new Directors running the company they are looking to promote Talon much more in the off road world.
Company founder George Sartin brokered the deal with Series Manager Brian Higgins in recent weeks and the details were signed off and confirmed on Wednesday, with Directors Steve Bones and Rod McDonagh. It is a two year package with the option to extend into 2025.
After having a guided tour around the Yeovil based factory, Higgins was positive with the arrangement, "I was amazed how the factory has grown since my last visit several years ago. There is no doubt that the ongoing development work reflects the high quality product. We are all aware of the range of sprockets and wheels which have come off the production line for many years, but I was particularly impressed with the new "triple clamp" which has recently been introduced into their range".
George will effectively be an Ambassador for Talon at many rounds this year, starting at Hookwood in three week's time.
Higgins also acknowledged the support of Wulfsport since 2019 saying, "Bill Brown and I go back a (very) long way. Bill and more recently Ellie, have been the backbone of support for the past four years. Their business is more Motocross and Leisure based and at a meeting last week we jointly decided that they could still support the series as they intend to further develop their Trials range and also be more involved with riders - something which will be announced next week"
GasGas and Point S will also remain as valued second tier sponsors for 2023.
