The venues for 2023 are now confirmed and the full list can be seen on the calendar section of the official website, www.acutrialgb.com
The series starts with the now traditional visit to Hookwood in Surrey on March 12th and finishes at a new organiser and venue to the series at Geddington, near Kettering in September.
Two weeks after the opener, a slightly earlier visit to South Wales for the St David's Trial is on the menu, before another two week gap to a new (in recent years) venue at Bootle in deepest Cumbria.
A break follows to allow for the SSDT, with round four taking place at a second new venue, the paradise of Inch Perfect in Lancashire.
A single round in Devon follows on June 25th and then two weeks later, the Yeadon Guiseley round follows, but back at Brimham Rocks for 2023.
Following from the success of the inaugural round in 2022, Rock & Hop follows on August 20th. Some riders asked about this linking with the Yeadon Guiseley event on following days, but two consecutive days does not suit organisers who each have to arrange twenty four Observers.
There is then a summer break until the final round at Geddington which is being organised by the Nene Valley Club. This will be a relatively short lap situated in a very old quarry with banks, roots and rocks.
Changes for 2023, include a one and a half minute allowance for sections and the split between laps one and two will be dispensed with, allowing riders to complete all three laps of twelve sections within the five hour ten minute allowance.
All eight rounds will count with the exception of the Trial GB class where the seven best from eight will be classified to allow for any riders who may be contracted to X Trial duties.
Further details will be released on the website in January.
