Rain and track incidents disrupted the running of the event, with time running out and curfew at 8.00pm some classes, eliminations were not completed. 8.50 and ET Bike reached the semi-finals.

8.50 Bike.

Jay Roe had a points lead of 240 ahead of Dan De’ath and 600 ahead of both Jonny Hines and Andy Haley.

With only two sessions completed due to rain. De’ath led the 23 bike field with 8.522, just edging out Martin Hallett 8.523 followed by Roe 8.530 and Danny Cockerill 8.532.

Round one saw Roe title chance ended by teammate, when he broke out 8.452 to Chrichlow 8.671.  Round two and Alex Gordon red lit against Hines.  De’ath put Haley back on the trailer.  That set up De’ath against Hines in the next round and De’ath 8.526 to Hines 8.614. That meant De’ath was the champion in his first season of racing. The semis were not run with De’ath, Chrichlow and Brad Head missing the chance of winning the last race. 

9.50 Bike.

Richard Sawatzki had claimed his tenth title coming through the gates, Carl Thomas led the small field 9.552 with Sawatzki 9.555. Round one did not start well. Brett Cordelle beat Dion Hartley 9.599 to 9.613, but Cordelle came off his bike in the shutdown area. He was ok. After the incident the other competitors had a meeting about the conditions and decided not to race.

ET Bike.

Scott Collier had 110 points advantage over Phil Pratt with Gary Hester 20 points behind Pratt. Due to the weather ET Bike only got one session of qualifying.  Second session was on the following day.  Miguelangelo Boeli was the number one qualifier 9.100 (dial in 9.10) ahead of Hester 8.750 (8.70) and Pratt 9.117 (9.08). Collier broke out in first session and then ran 9.662 (9.60).

Collier title challenge ended when he red lit against Hannes Burgering. Hester lost to Dave Grundy in round two.  Pratt beat Anna Sasiak to retain his championship.  The semi-finalists were Alan Davies, Andrew Burfitt, Liam Holgate and Phil Pratt.
