The 50-80cc racing group held a special 4 race championship last weekend at Mallory for the Scott Park Memorial Shield.
With Championships in the 125 Streetstock and 80-85cc separately, the Scott Park trophy shield was awarded to Sam Cookson based on the best performance between all riders between the two classes.
Weather conditions were perfect for racing, and we had exciting racing between all the riders over the 2-day 4 race championship weekend.
Streetstock and Scott Park Shield winner Sam Cookson put in some great performances to take three faultless wins and a second.
85cc champion Kerry Burton dug in and put in some really good solid riding to dominate his class over the whole weekend.
Whilst Novice Mac Parsons who only started racing in April this year was romping home with a comfortable lead over Warren Harvey in race 4 when on the last lap the engine went solid at the Bus Stop. Whipping his clutch in, he coasted down the hill and over the finish line in first place with what has to be one of the best stories to tell in the future down the pub about his first ever motorcycle road race win!!
The main 80-85cc Championship continues as normal and Mallory on Sept 4th
