Thursday and Friday sees the return of the unique Welsh Two Day Enduro organised by the Mid Wales Centre, starting from its Lakeside venue in the centre of Llandrindod Wells at 7am each day.
A full entry is headed by 31 sidecars contesting the British Enduro Championship with current British Champion David Williams with Will Green favourite to lead the standings, spicing things up in the clubman class are the welcome return of 3 German crews.
Favourite to take the title in the nearly 500 solo will be Alex Snow and Dan Mundell who are currently fighting for the British Championship while former multiple “Welsh” winner and now British Six Days Team Boss Daryl Bolter won't be far behind. Added some international flavour to the solo entry are 3 riders coming all the way from the Falkland Islands and Dutch regular Henk Spenkelink. Amongst the solo entry is nearly 50 riders in the Classic classes for old air cooled twin shock machines, these riders are contesting the ACU Classic Championship alongside regular fast men Phillip Jenkins, Jon Stobbs, Andy Elliott are former top enduro men Rob Jones and Jamie Lewis so watch out for them.
Admin takes place on Wednesday with the bikes and riders check over and a chance to see the competitors at close hand plus trade stalls, it’s well worth a visit, programmes are available from the start and various shops and garages in the area.
