Fellow Enduro riders and friends will meet today at 12:40 hrs for a service in Torquay, to honour the memory of Julian Crimp, who passed away in May, at the age of 54 .
Julian's love of Enduro took him to
events all over the world, making friends wherever he went.
Although he never took himself too seriously ,
his appetite for the sport and for life, was fierce , and his charm and energy
inevitably made those who knew him take him into their hearts. A character,
" in spades," as John Collins, ex-Chairman of the T& E
Committee described him. Members of the Committee and Secretaries, Mary and
Mady, will remember him as a generous spirited , considerate and funny
guy, gone far too soon but not without a brave fight .
So many personal tributes have already been
posted , but on behalf of all at the ACU who came into contact with
Julian over the years, may we offer our sincere sympathies to his family
and his partner Michele.
