For 2022, we have updated the regulations of our Classic Superbikes series. FP3 Classic Superbike class has been opened up to encourage more riders to join this exciting and expanding series.
This class is open to 750cc four-cylinder carburettor machines which were produced before 1st January 1998. Later machines may be eligible if they are the same model and specification of those available before 1st January 1998. Similar machines or hybrids may be considered on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of the club / class eligibility officer. If such a machine is given dispensation, this is on a year-by-year basis and will not be automatically excepted the following season.
Within the Classic Superbike series, we also run FP1 &FP2.
FP2 is the Battle of The Twins series, for pre 2006 twin cylinder machines from 725cc to 1000cc.
FP1, Formula One class is designed for the large, pre 85’ Air Cooled Four-stroke Superbikes raced in the late seventies/early 80s era and is loosely based on classes of that time such as TT F1.
It will also cater for large capacity air and water cooled two stroke machines such as Yamaha TZ750, Suzuki TR750 and Kawasaki 750 triples but excludes 500 GP machinery.
Anyone interested in joining the series can get all the details and full regulations on our website www.formulaprostocksracing.co.uk
