The ACU are regularly warning riders of the affects that illegal riding has on events and the threats of their competition licences being withdrawn. The current joint operation by Gwent and Dyfed Powys Police has seen the Police stop four riders from Birmingham illegally riding in South Powys, following a court appearance they were fined £1760 and ordered to pay costs that totalled more than £2000 each.
Both these Police forces regularly run operations to combat illegal riding in the area, so please be warned!
