Jason Edwards and Jordan Palin will represent Great Britain in the FIM European Under-19 Pairs Final in Germany next weekend.
The duo will race at Gustrow on September 26 after GB accepted a late call-up to take part in the event.
Youth boss Neil Vatcher said: “This is a competition that we are keen to get involved in, and when the opportunity came about for us to enter a Pair there was only one answer that we were going to give.
“It has been well documented that we are trying to give all our young riders experience of riding in European competitions, and again this will give our boys some valuable experience.
“Unfortunately due to the clash of dates with the senior British Final, in which a number of Under-19 riders have been included, the selection of riders was not so freely available as I would have liked.
“But having said that, Jordan and Jason (pictured) will represent GB on this occasion, and these two stars of the future would always have been in contention to have been selected regardless.”
