Day 3 of the and the midpoint of this year’s ISDE is over, Wednesday was an unfortunate day for the Trophy Team as Joe Wooton was forced to retire from the event with dislocated shoulder after early morning rain made for an interesting day.
Danny McCanney yet again was at the forefront of the battle and top Brit finishing a brilliant 5th overall! Alex Snow again has a good day exceeding expectations with a p23 scratch. Joe was having an average day after getting caught in some fence wire on test before his crash on the final test of the day.
The Junior squad of Dan, Jed and Alex Walton has an up and down day, Alex yet again improved with a 46th position. Unfortunately for Jed he had a bike issue which cost him time but ended in 59th. Dan had a good day, but a few mistakes cost him an excellent day but still finished 22nd one in front of Snow.
The Women’s team all improved on day 3. Jane Daniels still finished 4th but closer to the leaders, Nieve Holmes moves up to 13th on the day and Rosie Rowett 15th. With all the team moving up the rankings it’s getting exciting to see where they will end up in the overall team classification.
