The very close and exciting racing at the recent Manx Grand Prix Races resulted in another seven riders becoming members of the “Tommy Club”. Driven by an idea from his family, friends and sponsor, Martin Bullock, the Club was set up following Tommy Clucas’ tragic accident in 2004, to celebrate riders achieving a 120mph lap in the Manx Grand Prix, and to commemorate Tommy's historic achievement of becoming the first rider ever in the history of the Manx to lap at over 120 mph. This year’s recipients James Hind, Nathan Harrison, Stephen Smith, Stephen Parsons, Darryl Tweed, Daniel Ingham and Brad Vicars received their awards from Tommy’s niece, Amy, at the Manx Grand Prix Presentation Night at the Villa Marina. The new members now bring the number in this very exclusive Club to 26. There will only ever be a final total of 36 members, each member representing one year of Tommy's life.
