Organisers of the Lakes Trial which constitutes round six of the series takes place in just over one weeks’ time at a new venue at Troutbeck, high above Lake Windermere, are still accepting entries on the Ride ACU website.
The Westmorland Club have extended the closing date slightly until Sunday at midnight following interest from riders who may wish to sample a true Championship event on a course which is spread out enough to give riders some breathing space between sections. All of the regulars in the ACU Trial GB and ACU Trial2 classes have entered which makes up half of the entry but there are still spaces left in the ACU Trial Expert and ACU Trial 125 class. Clerk of the Course Anthony Brockbank has spent weeks weighing up all of the section options and will deliver a Trial to suit each class.
