The 2019 ACU Belle Trailers British Solo Youth A, B, C & D Trials Championship had an excellent start to the season with two rounds organised by Earls Shilton Trial Club.
The venue in the shadow of the M69 motorway in Leicestershire known as the Max Clark Trial.
With an entry of 74 competitors on both days it shows the interest of trials within the UK, with riders making journeys from England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland making a true British Championship and close results in most classes.
Saturday was held in dry sunny conditions and the severity of sections was ideal.
On Sunday morning a storm before the start did not help the grip on some of the sections and thoughts were that scores would be rather high. But after the rain and a stiff wind blowing it soon dried the sections to make two excellent championship days of youth trailing.
