This Sunday (April 7th) sees the opening round of the 2019 Bickers Lifting / Stebbing Car Superstore ACU Eastern Motocross Championship take place at the Blaxhall Circuit hosted by the Woodbridge DMCC.
For 2019 the championship will take place over 7 rounds during the summer months and on Sunday Blaxhall will feature a bumper line up with nearly 200 riders competing across the Expert and Junior classes.
During the winter months the award winner sandy circuit at Blaxhall has seen more track changes to the layout to give the riders a fresh and exciting new challenge for the upcoming season.
In the Expert Class a bumper line of the region best riders and a selection of national stars will be competing across the three Championship races. Reigning Champion Shaun Southgate will have his work cut out to defend his title ahead of Lewis Tombs, former champion Luke Benstead, Declan Whittle, Jake Edey, 2019 MX2 Champion Ben Clark along with several up and coming riders such as Calum Mitchell, Josh Peters and Connor Hughes.
For 2019 former Holeshot sponsor HRM Boilers have introduced a new Expert Rookie Championship for non National riders in their 1
st and 2
nd season to compete for and at Blaxhall there will be nine riders competing for the title including last Juniors Champion, Ryan Watts and Junior MX2 Champion Connor Baldry and Woodbridge Club members Rheis Morter and Ben Alexander.
In the Junior Classes 160 riders will be split across four groups with the fastest 40 consisting the Junior Championship. With number of the last years top Juniors moving up the Expert class, the class will be wide open as a new group of challenger battle for the 2019 title.
All the action starts at 9:15am with the first block of racing start straight after Practice. Admission prices are £10 for Adults and £5 for Unaccompanied Children with the Blaxhall Circuit being located using the postcode IP17 1LG.
