Concern is growing over the reports the ACU is receiving about the number of riders in Northumberland, Durham, Cumbria and Yorkshire using National Park land illegally i.e. without the cover afforded by an ACU permit.
This poses a very real threat to regulated Trials and Enduro events which rely heavily on the goodwill of all land owners, and particularly those in sensitive areas such as the National Parks and Forestry land.
The ACU constantly battle to retain the rights to provide affordable sport in these areas so we urge you to be mindful of the fact that it is YOUR sport that is being jeopardised by the relatively small number of thoughtless motorcyclists.
Should any such rider be identified as being an ACU licence holder, their licence will immediately be suspended, and further sanctions will be taken.
Any information regarding such incidences will be dealt with in confidence.
