The Judd KTM British Youth National Championship Powered by Parts Europe and the Steve Benton Transport British Under 21 Championship heads to Fraddon in Newquay this weekend as both series hit the important halfway point for 2018.
Following on from a show-stopper of a round at Culham last month, the UK’s elite youth and under 21 riders are getting geared up to battle it out once again this weekend. As the championships hit midway on the calendar, it will be an important event to turn up the heat, as riders should feel established in each class respectively and be making progress for the season.
Fraddon is a new circuit to the championship and is managed by one of the UK’s top track builders, Jonny Groves. Fraddon is known as a fantastic venue for spectating and viewing all of the racing action from start to finish. The track is currently going through a massive revamp ahead of the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship and Steve Benton Transport British Under 21 Championship, where we can expect a superb preparation for the riders with the goal of giving opportunities for great racing during the event.
Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities:
“Heading into Fraddon this weekend the team and myself can’t wait for another fantastic racing event. The championships are starting to get close and every point is really counts as the UK’s top Youth and Under 21 riders’ fight for the Official British ACU Championship titles. Fraddon is a brand new circuit for us and I am pleased to be bringing the series to Cornwall. Jonny has been working hard over the last couple of weeks revamping the track ahead our visit and I look forward to seeing our riders competing there.”
