Sunday 24th June sees round 4 of the G H Motorcycles/Husqvarna/ACU Eastern Enduro Championship, this event is on the Time Card format venue Little Hadham, Herts. The organisers for this round are the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club and they intend to lay out a competitive and challenging course.
The Championship Class leader Luke Parker will not be riding so here is a chance for Jason Morland to win the round and turn a 13 point deficit into a 7 points lead. However, Myles Saunders riding on home turf could outshine everyone. Will Jack Berry be back to top form in the Expert Class after James Barker and Tommy Clark pushed him into third place at round 3. Local residents Chris Hart and George Eustace might well put up a fight so could Ross Taylor and Jack Nicolaou.
Contest sponsor Gavin Hockey could make it two wins in two rounds and close the gap on Michael Ridge but Paul Spurgeon and Phil Roper might have something to say about that. Rob Aldridge is reigning supreme in the Clubman Class having already won the first 3 rounds but Dan Hunt, Ben Beadle, George Wolfe and Will Jurgens are all in the mix. To ride in a Time Card Enduro competitors have to 16 years old so Jake Roper, 15 is unable to ride but Joe Phillips who is 16 is.
Clubman Veteran Class leader, Andy Peck and round 3 winner has yet to enter however Steve Youngs, Jason Carsboult and Kevin Webb have and surely will fight for the win. Andy Mason this year is finding it tough in the Clubman Super Veteran Class he is laying second eight points behind Gene Womack. Other riders in contention are Graham Mays, Gary Drage and Steve Finch.
