The next Waltham Chase event is the re-scheduled Round 3 of the Club Championship, incorporating the John Wright Memorial Trial, being held at Hut Hill, Chandlers Ford, on Sunday the 3rd June, with a start time of 10.30.
Many Southern Centre riders will remember John Wright, Geoff Chandlers business partner from “Chandler and Wright” in Southampton, from the days when you couldn’t go on line to buy parts but had to go to a shop to get the bits you needed – and a gossip.
Sadly, John passed away in September last year, however the family would like to keep John’s name remembered by way of an annual Trial and donated awards.
Whilst being a Waltham Chase Club Trial all local riders are invited to join us for this event.
There will be a charity collection and raffle on the day in aid of “Parkinson’s UK” and some family members will be at the trial to share memories.
Any raffle donations would be appreciated.
