This Sunday the second round of the 2018 Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championship takes place at Blyth near Newcastle hosted by the Iveston & Satley MCC.
Hoping to continue where he left off in round one in Ireland with an overall win are defending champions Stuart Brown / Joe Millard. After machine problems earlier in the year they have recently been scoring good points in the World Championships and will be the team to beat.
Runners up in Ireland were Brett Wilkinson / Josh Chamberlain but at the time of writing it is unclear who the passenger will be this weekend.
The leading Irish driver, Gary Moulds, has changed passenger with last year's crewman Steve Kirwin returning. They will be hoping to get back to the speed they had last year but injury problems might hamper Gary.
Among the other teams to look out for are Michael Hodges / Charlie Ide and the vastly experienced Paul Pelling and his passenger Chris Pannell.
In addition to the Sidecar championship races there will be races for riders competing in the NETT Quad championship and a Solo support
The circuit can be found at the PJMX track, Ferguson business park and the nearest postcode for those with satnav is NE22 7DD
