With the first of the three ‘pure’ road races held on the Colas Billown Course annually, the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races just five weeks away, the Southern 100 Marshals Association have been provided with new tabards.
The tabards which will be worn by all marshals when on duty around the 4.25-mile course have been generously sponsored and provided by
Hunt’s Motorcycles of Manchester as part of their continued involvement with the
Southern 100 Racing organisation.
Managing Director of Hunt’s John Brown said:
‘We are delighted to be able provide these tabards for the Southern 100 Marshals who do such a fantastic job in making sure that the event runs so smoothly every year.’
Hunt’s major sponsorship is with the
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 International Road Races, where they are the title sponsors of the feature
Southern 100 Solo Championship Race.
They are also sponsoring a Supersport 600cc Challenge Race, which will bring the curtain down on the friendly races’ which the July races have become known over the years.
Chief Marshal, Peter Chadwick said:
‘The Southern 100 Marshals Association is greatly indebted to John Brown and Hunt’s Motorcycles for their generous sponsorship of the 106 tabards. ‘The tabards are an important part of a Marshals ‘kit’ in ensuring they are visible at all times to competitors – especially during an incident.’
The
Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 25th, 26th & 27th May, followed by the
Radcliffe Butchers Post TT Road Races on Saturday 9th June and the
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 International Road Races on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th July 2018.
