After months of trials in Wales postponed due to waterlogged venues or snow making access impossible, a glimmer of spring is arriving in the Principality and with it two major trials. First on 25th March sees the opening round of the 2018 Welsh Trials Championship run by Merthyr MC at the legendary Morlais Quarry, Dowlais, seen of World Championship Trials back in the eighties. Although it’s a Welsh Championship, English riders are welcome to complete on a non points basis.
The following week sees the Mid Wales Centre organise the Powys Trophy Trial a round of the ACU’s S3 Parts National Championship at Llangadfan near Welshpool utilising the massive Foel Forest with its collection of rocky brooks.
