On Sunday the Diss mcc will be hosting round three of the 2017 Hadrian Marine British Clubmans Sidecarcross championships at their Wattisfield Hall circuit in Norfolk. As well as the three sidecar clubmans races there will be NGR championship races plus two classes of solos.
At the time of writing there were nearly thirty sidecars entered for the championship races plus one wild card driver so the racing should be fast and furious right down the field. Current leaders in the series are Ross Bowers / Rob Eastman who are just four points in front of second placed Sam Osbaldiston / Nathan Cooper. They are in turn just one point ahead of Rob Oldfield / Faye Barnes.
Also in the line-up is the hard charging Jake Brown (son of current British champion Stuart Brown) from Macclesfield and Jacob Chambers son of ex British champion John Chambers. Jacob will be passengering local driver Dexter Wharton.
Practice will start at 10.15 with the first race due to leave the line at 11.30. Admission for adults is £10, OAPs £5 and kids £3. The Wattisfield Hall circuit is right alongside the A143 Bury St Edmunds to Diss road and the nearest postcode is IP22 1NX.
Although there has been very little rain in the area for a few weeks now the club are well prepared for watering and will do all they can to keep dust levels to a minimum.
