The 500cc Sidecar Association are delighted to be able to announce the 2017 500cc Sidecar Super Series is GO!
The UK’s top grasstrack race series will once again be run over five rounds at venues throughout the country. The first round will be held on April 23rd at Astra’s Champion of Champions in the South-East. The following rounds will be held at venues right across the UK. Midshires in the Midlands, Cheshire in the North, Cornwall in the South-West, finishing with the final back at the 500cc Sidecar Association’s home track in Essex.
Twelve crews have been selected to contest this exciting series and every crew will be able to drop the points from their worst scoring qualifying round. The crews will be racing for a total prize fund of £7500. Reigning champions Mitch Godden/Paul Smith head the list of Super Series crews and once again fans can expect more hard, fast and close wheel-to-wheel racing from the class. Not just in the series but at grass track events both in the UK and across the continent.
