A new low-capacity class has been launched by Preston and District MCC for the 2017 season, paving the way for a hugely-competitive series featuring a broad range of 4-stroke machines.
The new 125cc EVO championship will give racers the freedom of some machine modifications whilst also being suited to a reasonable budget. The series aims to attract junior riders as well as those new to club racing – but will also offer challenges to seasoned competitors.
The championship will run in partnership with the existing Streetstock 125cc class – with the latter being an existing club series for standard machines. The new class has been developed due to the success of the stock championship, with a highly competitive grid of machines anticipated for the 2017 season.
