The 27th running of the Jack Thompson British Bikes Trial will be at the famous Canada Heights Motocross course on Sunday 4th December. 4-stroke and 2-strokes, solo and sidecar all built when Britain was Great! Well, the original bikes came from British factories in the 1960’s, but many nowadays have components from much further away and from later years!
Remarkably, three of the one hundred riders who have entered this year rode in the first Jack Thompson back in 1990 and have ridden in every one since. Welcome home Joan Westbrook, John Pattinson and Bob Onley!
This year we will be welcoming five riders from Belgium and five from the Netherlands, all riding British 4-strokes. Their journey to Swanley, Kent is probably shorter than some others coming from far flung parts of the UK.
Spectators are welcome – free admission; programme £1. The first riders start at 9:30am. Canada Heights is in Button Street, Swanley, Kent, postcode BR8 8DX.
