The Americans are coming to the Vets MXdN this weekend looking for revenge
This weekend the annual Vets MXdN event will be taking place at the famous Farleigh Castle circuit. In recent years the event has grown to become the biggest Evo and Twinshock event in Europe.

Once again Team USA are fielding a very strong Evo Team with course specialists John Dowd and Doug Dubach being joined by Jeff Emig and Todd De Hoop. Make no mistake the Americans want revenge for their defeat at the hands of Team GB last year, but Dave King has pulled a trump card with Kurt Nicoll jetting in to lead a strong British contingent of Ryan Voase who helped GB to a win last year and the introduction of Jamie Dobb into the team backed up by Jon Barfoot.

A full line up of fifteen teams will take to the famous Farleigh Castle circuit for two days of hard racing in front of them and expect Team South Africa or Team Belgium to be the most likely challengers for podium places. Ex World Champion, Grant Langston leads South Africa is backed up by Ryan Hunt, Andre David and Tony Riddell. Another Ex MX3 World Champion Sven Breugelmans joins Werner De Wit at the head of Team Belgium whilst Team Manager Danny Scheers has David Cools and Jurgen Van Nooten as the other point scoring riders.

There are also four races for the Twinshock Nations races and last year's winners, Germany have again assembled a strong proven team of Laurent Lacasse, Jurgen Kuppers, Maik Kaltenberg and Frank Jansen - Teitz. Iron man Breugelmans also features in these races for Belgium with Birk Schelfaut, Bengt Laeremans and David Cools completing the quartet. The UK Team will be looking to improve on last year's fifth position and hopes rest with Terry House, Wayne Butt, Pete Mathia and Ewan Johnson.

Apart from two team races for both classes each day there are also eight supporting classes of 480 riders making this event the biggest motocross gathering within the UK.

The action starts at 9am on both days and the postcode is BA2 7RR. The gates open at 12 noon on Thursday 1st September and 8am on Friday 2nd September. Spectator admission is £25 for an adult and £10 for children. A weekend camping pass is an additional £25 per vehicle or per pitch.
