As we head into the final stages of the season, not one
champion has been crowned just yet in the MXGP, AMA or Maxxis British
championship - the final few rounds here and abroad are set to be incredible.
The brand new MXGP event is Switzerland looked like a
complete let down in the build up in the week before the event, fast forward to
Sunday and the main races were whole different story. One of the best GP’s of
the year with a solid crowd, good weather and brilliant racing, hats off to the
everyone involved and let’s hope we head back there in 2017 and beyond.
Max Anstie our cover star has been immense in the last two
GP’s winning both and doing British motocross proud, he deserves his cover for
sure. OK Jeffrey Herlings has been out injured but as the old saying goes
‘you’ve got to be in it to win it’ and he did just that. It’s a real shame Max
doesn’t race the Maxxis British Championship, we need our star riders back
racing our national championship, it's good for the industry, the promoter and
especially good for the fans. Let’s hope this is reversed in 2017 and we get to
see Max and his team mate Conrad Mewse race here in the UK.
Enjoy the read and enjoy your time at the races.
