This Saturday will be the first 8 hour endurance race for No Limits Racing and the first motorcycle 8 hour endurance race in the UK and Snetterton for 9 years.
The race is scheduled for a 10.20am start and will feature 46 teams. The race will be a Le Mans style start where riders run across the track to their machines at the drop of the Union Flag.
The race contains four separate race categories, all teams compete for the ACU National Endurance Championship split by machine capacity 1000cc class and 600cc class. Heading the 1000cc standings are team Go Racing Developments, they have won the last three rounds and perhaps importantly won the three hour endurance at Snetterton held in April. The 600cc National class is headed by SPANK endurance who have scored 95 points from a possible 100 to date.
Chris Walker will be at the event, fresh from his triple podium success at BSB Knockhill on three wheels, to manage his newly formed team, titled with his now infamous catchphrase "Old but Gold" the team is comprised of former racers and current mechanics from the BSB paddock.
The Clubman championships recognise those riders who have less racing experience and are highly competitive, the Clubman 1000cc standings are level pegging with Team Prolaps Racing and Host-it.co.uk equal on 86 points and in the 600cc standings just four points split Parish Brothers Racing and Profibre.co.uk
The chequered flag will complete the race at 18:25 and there will be plenty of action along the way!
This event is free admission, so if you have ever thought about racing or want to see what it is all about, why not come down to Snetterton this Saturday and take a look. On top of this, we will be running exclusive tours where you can see the ins and the outs of the event taking in Race Control and exclusive pit tours with a chance to chat to some of the riders.
