The ACU are pleased to announce the following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain at the International Six Days Enduro in Spain in October. Trophy Team: David Knight, Danny McCanney, Jamie McCanney, Nathan Watson.
Junior (Vase) Team: Josh Gotts, Lee Sealey, Jack Edmondson.
ACU GB ISDE Team Manager, Dusty Martin: “With the new rules for this year – a downsizing of the teams from 6/4 to 4/3 – the team selection could be viewed as having been made either easier or harder. In any case there will some disappointment for a few who we could have easily seeded into the teams, for at this time we have a fantastic wealth of enduro talent in this country.
“As it is our Trophy team share seven world titles between them and while Nathan Watson is brand new to the sport he’s already a world championship podium finisher. The energy and the potential in our Junior team is excellent, too, these three youngsters have been contesting world championship rounds this year and again we’ve seen podium finishes. Both teams are highly motivated and extremely talented and I can’t express just how excited we are about their potential. The ISDE is never easy yet we’ve been very successful in recent years, we’ve stood on the podium, and we have that capability again this year. To all the other teams we should warn them now – bring your A-game because Team GB is gunning for gold!”
