Sunday the 5th of June will see Wakes Colne fire into life once again, this time for the annual Richard Fitch Memorial Meeting. Richard sadly lost his life 11 years ago, doing what he loved. Since then the Halstead Club has been keeping his memory alive with a fun motocross meeting. Gill and Chris Fitch support the club providing many spot prizes for rider’s right through the field including Tyres, Oil, Goggles you name it and once again they will be supporting the meeting this weekend.
The day will be full of great racing with the addition of the Eastern Evo championship as a full line up of riders will defiantly produce some hotly contested battles as they charge up the hill. Also competing are some well-known Eastern Centre riders including current championship leader Brad Tomlin, Jason Morland and MXY2 rider Tommie Schofield.
The day will finish with the Richard Fitch Race. Which will see the 40 fastest riders having to run from the finish line down to the start. This was the highlight of the event last year and it is sure to prove just as exciting this time around.
Spectator entry is only £10 for adults. With all the action starting at 10am with the practice session. It will be a great day out for all the family with the circuit Signposted from CO6 2DF.
