On Sunday 20th March, the sidecar crews will once again take to the track for the first round of the Hadrian Marine British Sidecarcross Clubmans Championship 2016 at Binstead, Hampshire, following a long winter off-season.
The excitement is rising as all the crews are chomping at the bit to get back out on their bikes and race for the championship.
Once again we see a full entry list, full of new pairings as well as long established crews.
This year’s championship could go to anyone, following the win of Tony Grahame / Scott Lloyd in 2015, there are several crews to watch this year including Ross Bowers / Dan Phelps, Danny Gray / Lewis Gray, Rob Oldfield / Faye Barnes, Roger Blackman / Eric Maguire and Dan Lawry / Darren Bishop.
Practise will start at 10am, with the first race straight after at approximately 11.30am. Admission is £5 for adults, with under 14s free. The nearest postcode is GU34 3NS for those with Satnavs.
This year, the Sidecar Motocross Association is very pleased to announce that we have secured sponsorship for the 2016 Clubmans championship and also for the British Experts championship.
Hadrian marine, who have sponsored sidecar championships in the past, have come forward with an offer that will help support both these championships.
The British Championship will now be ‘The Maxxis ACU British Sidecarcross Championship incorporating the Hadrian Marine Experts Championship’ The Clubmans will now be titled ‘The Hadrian Marine British Sidecarcross Clubmans Championship 2016.
