Now is the time to renew your number for 2016. If you want to ensure you keep the same number for the 2016 season, you must renew it by 31st January 2016 at the latest. NO NUMBERS WILL BE HELD AFTER THIS DATE.
Any numbers not renewed by 31st January will be made available on a first come, first served basis. If you have not renewed your number by this date there is every possibility that you could lose it to another rider. There were in the region of 700 numbers sold for 2015 so if you don’t want to lose your number, renew it NOW.
You can renew your number online at
www.easternacu.org or if you prefer by using the postal form in the December or January edition of the Eastern Centre Gazette. The cost of reserving your number remains at £5 per season. If reserving the number online an extra 39p is added to cover the fees charged by PayPal. This ensures that the chosen charities (in 2016 they are East Anglian Air Ambulance, Essex Air Ambulance & ACU Benevolent Fund) do not lose out, and is still cheaper than sending the application form by post.
Numbers 1 – 50 are kept for experts only. Number 1 will be offered to the Centre Champion; in the event that the champion declines, number 1 will not be issued.
In 2015 this scheme has enabled the Centre, on behalf of riders, to make donations totalling £3,500 to the Essex & East Anglian Air Ambulances.
NEW NUMBERS AVAILABLE FROM 1st FEBRUARY
