As announced earlier in the year, the first 7 rounds of the Derby Phoenix Championship for solo riders have now been run, courtesy of Dave Stewart( a former competitor with Derby Phoenix, during his racing career), at selective Thundersport events. Similarly North Gloucester club offered a similar opportunity for Sidecar riders.
Regs are now available for Rounds 8 and 9, which will be Derby Phoenix’s only standalone Championship meeting in 2015, at Cadwell Park full circuit on the weekend of 12/13
th September. MSV will also be organising a Test day on the preceding Friday 11
th September.
In addition to their usual Championship classes, and for this meeting only, Derby Phoenix are delighted that, again with help from Dave Stewart and Club Chairman Ben Ludford, to have attracted support from the Promoters and Organisers of 2 Stroke GP Racing, GB Racing Combined Military Services Championship, Ducati Desmo Duo Series, FSRA F350, Post Classic and Pre-Injection Sidecar Championship, and the revolutionary Moto E Series.
Although invitations and entr are being sent out individually to members who raced with the Club during the past 2 seasons, any and all riders interested in competing in any of the classes above will be welcomed to enter.
