The RT Keedwell sponsored trials championship returned to the Scarborough Clubs Low North Park last Sunday for the 6th round of the 2015 series.
James Dabill extended his lead in the Championship with another clear win which means he looks a near certainty to take Vertigo to a first national series win. He did not have thing all his own way early on as Billy Bolt led for much of the first lap. Dibs though was in front by the end of the circuit and he never looked back. He had a twelve mark winning margin from a resurgent Ross Danby with Billy Bolt a fine third, his and Ossa's best result to date in the modern era.
Jack Howells came into the Expert group and promptly posted a fine win from Jonny Starmer who had won at Hook Woods (round 1) with Dan Thorpe third. Thorpey however extends his series lead over young Tom Hooper who was fourth one day.
Jack Peace is now challenging Toby Martyn in the A class Youth series. Martyn won all of the first four rounds but Peace has now taken the last two and at Scarborough he was a clear winner. Sam Johnson took third, a position he holds also in the series.
The Championships now take a break for two months before resuming for the Edinburgh MCC event the first weekend in August.
