Llangollen youth riders got 2015 underway with an early Easter trial on Sunday 22nd March in Fron Wood near Llangollen. With perfect weather all week and the day of the trial the sections were in great shape. With 3 routes planned for easy, intermediate and hard there was something for all ages to get their teeth into ready for the club championship to get underway.
The easy route results were 3
rd place Rhys Bagnall on 22, 2
nd place was Jess Widdowson who took the results to most cleans and then Dylan Harris coming out on top with 18.
The intermediate route results were 3
rd place Jak Hollingsworth on 45, 2
nd on 12 marks lost was Dylan Hayes and again topping the class with most cleans was Steffan Jones with 12 marks lost.
The hard route was a real battle between David and Galiath as it was a youth open class with full size petrol bikes VS 20 inch electric bikes. Each bike showed its own advances on every section. 3
rd place was Charlie Crossland on 28, 2
nd was Lewis Hurdsman who swapped places with Charlie all though the trial on 17, and 1
st was George Morris on 7 marks taking his 125 gas gas to an impressive win.
The Gary Richards Rider of the day was Ewan Edwards on the easy route who grew with confidence as the day went on.
