On Sunday 15th March the sidecar crews will once again take to the track for the first round of the 2015 Sidecar Cross Clubmans Championship at Binstead, Hampshire, following a long winter off-season. The excitement is rising as all the crews are chomping at the bit to get back out on their bikes and race for the championship.
With a full entry list, it is looking to be a brilliant line up, filled with both youngsters and ‘golden oldies.’
This year’s championship is wide open, following the impressive win of Simon Bradford / Luke Peters in 2014, there are several crews to watch this year including Jon Pannell / Craig Parmenter, Rob Oldfield / Ross Parmenter, Roger Blackman / Eric Maguire, Ross Bowers / Daniel Spencer and Mark Banks / Chris Pannell.
The Clubmans Sidecars will also be accompanied by the pre-1985 Twinshock Sidecars, Modern Solos, Twinshock Solos, Evo Solos and the first round of the Tilehurst Roofing Quad Championship.
Practise will start at 10am, with the first race straight after at approximately 11.30am. Admission is £5 for adults, with under 14s free. The nearest postcode is GU34 3NS for those with Satnavs.
